This February at the Welsh Wildlife Centre, bring the whole family along for some fantastic crafty events starting from the 18th February-1st March 2019.
Over two weeks, there will be a rolling programme of activities. Each Monday, children can make their own pine cone bird feeder or minibeast home. Have a go at our brand new upcycling workshop on Tuesdays where you can let your imagination run wild and transform every day ‘junk’ into something fresh, funky and useful!
Every Wednesday and Thursday, there will be a wide selection of painting activities available including decorating your own bird and squirrel feeders, bug and toad homes, flower pots, decorations and much more!
Make a lovely spring bulb planter on Fridays. Decorate a pretty flower pot and plant bulbs ready for flowering next season. On Friday 1st March, there will also be some great St David’s Day themed crafts available too!
Daily activities run from 10:30am-12pm and 1:30pm-3pm and cost £3 per child. Booking is recommended, please call 01239 621600 to reserve spaces.
Each weekday throughout the fortnight, there will be a spring quiz trail to have a go at as well. Find owls with letters on around the reserve to help you solve clues and claim a small prize once you have finished! This is £2.50 per entry and runs from 10:30am-3:30pm.
