On 4th September, Cath (Education Officer) and Carys (Communications and Fundraising Officer) visited Tonyrefail Community School to speak to pupils as part of the schools Charity Support Project.
A classroom of children aged 13 – 16 spent the morning thinking about how we can secure a Wilder Future for our wildlife in Wales. They designed social media campaigns and posters to promote the work of The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, before going on to plan fundraising activities.
The class will fundraise for The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW) throughout the school year, supported by staff at WTSWW.
Cath Lewis, Education Officer said:
We are delighted that the school have chosen to support our work through vital awareness and fundraising. We had a brilliant day speaking to and hopefully inspiring the next generation! Thank you Tonyrefail Community School for thinking of us, we can’t wait to work with you!
