Creigiau Primary School

In March 2024, Creigiau Primary School's Year 6 students took on an exciting challenge to raise money for The Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales.

The children ran a 10,000m relay to see how close they could get to Mo Farah's 2016 Olympic Gold Medal time of 27 minutes and 5 seconds. They completed it in 47 minutes and 40 seconds and managed to raise £155 for Welsh wildlife!

Our Puffin Pal paid them a visit to say thank you and tell them how the money raised will make a difference to Welsh wildlife.

What the students had to say

From choosing the charity, taking part in the challenge and learning how the money will help wildlife, here is what these students has to say about their WILDFundraising journey.

I liked fundraising because I know the money is going to a a good cause.
