The Glasshouse Cafe at The Welsh Wildlife Centre will be serving our Christmas menu from 26th November to the 20th December between 12pm-2.30pm. Booking is essential; all food is freshly prepared in our own kitchens therefore menu choices are required two weeks in advance of the date of your meal.

If you have special dietary needs please ask at the time of your booking as we are able to cater for most dietary requirements.

We can cater for party sizes up to 50 and we are fully licenced. Evening booking may be available please enquire as to availability.

Our Christmas menu is as follows:

Starters

Roast sweet peeper & tomato soup with homemade roll & butter. (V)

Smoked salmon wrapped fish terrine with a lemon dressed green leaf & new potato salad.

Individual baked chorizo & goat’s cheese tartlets with sun blushed cherry tomato salad & basil dressing.

Main courses 

Traditional roast Pembrokeshire turkey with all the seasonal trimmings.

Daube of Welsh beef slow cooked with porcini mushrooms, cream & Rock Steady Ale from Cardigans Mantle Brewery.

Half pheasant braised with chestnuts & smoky bacon in a white wine sauce.

Butternut squash, oven baked & filled with a herb & seed vegetable risotto served with a green pea veloute. (V)

All the above served with Chefs selection of seasonal vegetables & roast potatoes.

Puddings

Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce.

Chocolate, orange & almond pudding served with Cointreau cream.

A light medley of balled melon with pomegranate jewels & rose water.
