Halloween/Nos Galan Gaeaf Scavenger Hunt

Enjoy our spooky Scavenger Hunt as you explore the nature reserve. Search the trails for special ingredients to create a witches potion then add them to our cauldron at the visitor centre.

Arts & Crafts

Wednesday 29th - Friday 31st October 2025.

Face painting and a programme of seasonal craft sessions will be running during these dates, including making mini-beast homes and bird feeders, Skulls and Bones session, autumn and Halloween crafts.

Check out our events page for more dates and details, and how to book.

The nature reserve and visitor centre are free to enter with just £5 to pay for all day parking. The reserve has a variety of trails to explore, many of which are accessible. There are bird hides to look out for the resident Kingfishers and Otters and 2 playground areas to run off excess energy. Dogs are welcome on the reserve if kept on leads and please do use the dog bins for disposing of dog waste. The Glasshouse Café has delicious food and drinks. Seating is available indoors or outside overlooking our beautiful reed beds and woodland, stunning in their autumn colours.

All proceeds from the events, shop, café and car park help us in our conservation efforts.
