Wild clay and wild places

Originally from Prague, Linda is a self taught potter based in Pembrokeshire. Linda’s pottery is inspired by her natural surroundings and often includes materials collected locally.

Linda joined us as a #WILDFundraiser in February 2022. Starting off with a WILD fundraising event at the Great Charity Pot and Print Fair. Now, Linda donates 50% of the sales received from her recent collection 'One Hundred and Eight' to the Trust.

I have chosen the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales because I love walking in the surrounding countryside with my family, friends or on my own and collecting samples of natural materials to use in my pottery work. The Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran which is local to us has been a wonderful place to go to with children and enjoy some of their nature and craft activities there.

We also loved visiting Skomer Island and watching the thriving wildlife there including nesting puffins. I feel it’s very important to treasure these areas of natural beauty and wilderness and to protect them for future generations.
