DESCRIPTION: As Autumn sets in, the hunt is on for signs of one of our most elusive small mammals, the harvest mouse. Join experts from the Wildlife Trust as we go out surveying for harvest mouse nests on Parc Slip Nature Reserve! Finding these leftover summer nests is one of the ways mammal surveyors can determine the presence of harvest mice, so you can really help us with the monitoring of our wild mice.
WALK DESCRIPTION: We may be going off the beaten track in our hunt for nests so please wear appropriate footwear as this may involve climbing some stiles and walking over rough ground.
Please contact Rose, People and Wildlife Officer, for more information.
