About the event

Richard worked as Countryside Manager first in Northern Ireland and then in Pembrokeshire as Species Protection Officer for peregrines since 1992.  Since retirement he has monitored breeding peregrines in a working quarry near his home.  His talk covers not only the lives of the peregrines but also the changes the quarry has gone through and the challenges this has presented both for the birds and his study.
