About the event

Enjoy a family friendly walk (2 to 3 miles) around Mynydd Illtyd common near Brecon, starting from the BBNP visitor centre. There is a fee for the car park of £3 for over 4 hours. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Adults are welcome to come along to enjoy a walk and a picnic even if they don't have their family with them. If there are enough adults without children then we may form a separate group and just join up for the picnic.

Mynydd Illtyd has a range of habitats to explore and some interesting wildlife which regard them as home. We may see butterflies, dragonflies and some of the summer migrant birds.

Join in with some nature themed activities to learn about the landscape and wildlife in it. We will find a place to enjoy a picnic together.
