About the event

Once, wild auroch would have grazed the welsh landscape, grazing our grasslands, turning the soil and creating habitats for our wildlife. Find out how we are replicating ancient animal ecosystem engineering on local reserves!

Ystrad Fawr reserve can be very wet and boggy. Please bring wellies and appropriate clothing for weather conditions.

Our cattle are very docile and Wildlife Trust Staff will be on hand to advise on how to approach the cattle safely but caution around cattle is always advised. Please be advised, dogs can frighten cattle and are not permitted at this event.
