Sightings Update 09/11/2018: Bottlenose dolphins and Atlantic grey seal

Weather Conditions: Overcast and rainy, Wind Direction SE, Sea State 1

 Multiple groups of bottlenose dolphins totaling around 18 individuals were sighted continuously on this morning’s land survey, travelling around the whole of the bay and actively foraging, occasionally leaping out of the water. A female Atlantic grey seal was observed for over an hour bottling close to the harbour wall and seabirds such as gannets, guillemots and an oystercatcher were also sighted.
