The survey got off to a great start with four adults and one calf spotted foraging just off the harbour wall and another lone dolphin milling at the sea surface a bit further offshore. The sightings continued for the next 15 minutes of the survey with four dolphins seen being very energetic and leaping from the water just north-east of the harbour wall. For the rest of the survey, one dolphin remained foraging around the harbour wall whilst two groups of two individuals travelled further afield to forage near the cardinal buoy.
