An individual female Atlantic grey seal was also seen in front of the harbour wall during this interval of the survey. The group of bottlenose dolphins continued to undertake long dives, splitting once again with an individual spotted offshore north-east of the harbour wall the near to the cardinal marker. The other five bottlenose dolphins were observed foraging near the fish factory and two were identified as calves. In the last half hour of the survey period this group was joined by another two individuals, these seven bottlenose dolphins then proceeded eastwards towards the cardinal marker with rapid progress and splash surfacing.
