Two bottlenose dolphins including one calf

 

Two bottlenose dolphins including one calf were sighted off New Quay Head foraging.

1.5hr survey. Start time 13.35

As the survey started a mother and calf were sighted just off the harbour wall foraging in the bay. Later at the end of the survey they were spotted again still feeding in the bay off the harbour wall.

Seven bottlenose dolphins including one calf and one juvenile

 

At the start of the survey an adult and juvenile were sighted foraging off New Quay Head. Later on three adults and a calf were foraging and leaping south west of New Quay head. Towards the end of the survey an adult bottlenose dolphin was sighted foraging off New Quay Head.
