17/04/2016: 1 Atlantic Grey Seal & 7 Bottlenose Dolphins

Weather conditions: Sunny with a rain later on, sea state 2 for the majority of the watch, sea state 3 ending the watch, wind direction SW

A total of 7 dolphins, including a juvenile were spotted off the harbour wall between 7:15 and 8:15 am. They stayed around the bay, mostly swimming near the cardinal marker. The dolphins were doing long dives, thought to be foraging at depth. A lone dolphin was seen at 7:45 am traveling with forward leaps in a northwest direction.
