Well OK, we are being a little loose with the truth here, a giant badger's head has been spotted near Cardigan, behind the Welsh Wildlife Centre to be precise.
This is part of the Communities and Nature (CAN) project that we have been involved with over the last couple of years. The giant badger sculpture is made out of willow and the head has been crafted by Michelle Cain, local willow weaver and creator of the willow butterfly maze on the site, also part of the CAN project.
You will see the badger emerge over the coming months and we hope she will stand guard over the Welsh Wildlife Centre and Teifi Marshes for many years. We are looking for a name for the badger, whilst at the same time raising some match funds for the project.
So if you fancy naming the badger you can either do it when you are at the Centre next or you can do it online. It costs £1 and if you do it online you will be allocated a random number which will be used to pick the name over the next couple of months.
Name our badger online - you will need to pay either by credit/debit card or Paypal
