Over the two week Easter break at the Welsh Wildlife Centre, bring the whole family along for a fantastic mix of outdoor learning and crafty events, plus some special hands-on animal experiences starting from the 13th-28th April 2019.
Over the Easter weekend, have a go at a quizzical Easter Egg hunt where you can hunt for eggs hidden around the nature reserve and solve clues to win a prize! There will also be Easter craft activities on the Saturday and Sunday, and on Good Friday Pant Glas will be visiting the Centre with their magnificent birds of prey, including hawks and owls.
On Easter Monday, Silent World will be calling in to the Centre with their awesome rainforest critters, including snakes, spiders and plenty of exotic insects! Learn about their way of life, where they come from and you can even have the chance to handle some of them!
On Tuesdays, 16th and 23rd April, you can go on an amazing mini-beast safari around the nature reserve and look for some fascinating native bugs and beasties, and on Wednesdays, 17th and 24th April, discover what lies beneath the surface of the water at the ever popular pond dipping sessions.
Across the remaining dates of the holiday, there will be a selection of arts & crafts activities available to choose from, including painting and decorating bug homes, bird feeders, decorations and much more!
Daily activities run from 11am-12:30pm and 2pm-3:30pm and cost no more than £3 per child. Entry for the Birds of Prey and Silent World events are £5 for adults and £3 for children. Booking is highly recommended, please call 01239 621600 to reserve spaces.
