The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales have kindly been given funding for a project in Cardiff from the People's Postcode Lottery. We have called this project #MyWildCardiff.

Last month we attended 'Wildlife Watch' week at Pugh’s Garden Centre in Radyr on Thursday 23rd February. We had a great time speaking to visitors about how they can improve their garden for wildlife.

Visitors to the stall planted their own Oxeye Daisies to take home and grow in their gardens and chatted to staff about their favourite wildlife species that they usually see in their gardens. Birds and hedgehogs were very popular!

People were also able to see an example wildlife garden, complete with pond, hedgehog house and bug hotel to inspire them with ideas for their own gardens.
