‘Wild Side of Wales’ – 2015 Photography Competition

The hugely popular photography competition run by the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales is back for 2015, and it is bigger than ever before! For the first time, the competition is being organised between two of the Trust’s Visitor Centres, the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran and Parc Slip Nature Reserve near Bridgend.

The theme of the competition is the ‘Wild Side of Wales’. There is one category which will include all subjects – flora, fauna, landscapes… and there are two age categories also, under 16s and over 16s.

All photos have been uploaded to the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales Facebook page where you can vote for your favourites and the top 12 photos from the vote carried out by each Visitor Centre will be judged by a panel of professional photographers who will choose a winner for each Centre and also the overall winner.

Both Visitor Centres will display the photos they received in a public gallery which will be open from 24 October to 01 November 2015. The online vote will close on October 31 with the top 12 from each Centre being announced on November 01. The winners will then be revealed on 10 November 2015.
