Dolphin Watch Live, the opportunity to watch bottlenose dolphins from your own home!
Webcam Live daily (5am to 11pm)
Cardigan Bay is a haven for marine wildlife. Located on the coast in the middle of Cardigan Bay is the small town of New Quay (Cei Newydd), home to our Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre (CBMWC) and known for being a hotspot for sightings of bottlenose dolphins as well as being the mid-point of the Wales coast path.
Bottlenose dolphins visit New Quay harbour regularly throughout the year, with increased activity from April through until November.
This live webcam has been set up to assist our Living Seas team from the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre (CBMWC) to monitor bottlenose dolphin activity in New Quay bay.
It also enables the team to share the amazing experience of watching dolphins and other wildlife off the Welsh coast with everyone!
CBMWC is part of The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW) and this project has been set up as part of the Living Seas Wales project, a collaboration with North Wales Wildlife Trust.
