Discover the archaeology and history of Skomer Island with two expert archaeologists.

Led by Louise Barker and Dr Toby Driver of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Wales, this day will be a fascinating look at the pre-historic and historic settlements on Skomer. With evidence of human settlements dating back over 4000 years, the huts, field systems and cairns on Skomer are some of the best preserved in Europe.

Learn about new research, excavations and surveys of Skomer’s archaeology over the last five years and enjoy a rare opportunity to explore parts of Skomer not normally accessible to visitors.
