Trevor Thobald at Unknown Wales Conference 2011The Unknown Wales Conference is a partnership between the National Museum Wales and the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, designed to celebrate some of Wales’ least known wildlife. Now in its fifth year, the Conference has hosted over 200 delegates each year and presented diverse talks from fungi to a history of bird research, ancient trees to brown hares.

The Unknown Wales Conference 2015 will take place at the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff on Saturday 3rd October.

Packed lunches will be available on the day to avoid queues at lunch time, just pre-order in the morning on arrival. They will cost £5 and contain a sandwich (ham or cheese), muffin, fruit, crisps and a bottle of water.

Please note that there may be some road closures around the museum due to the Cardiff Half Marathon. Please take this into account when planning your transport to the Conference.
