Gift Aid
Remember to always choose Gift Aid, which means that for every pound you give, we can claim an extra 25p from Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further. For example, £10 can be turned into £12.50 – imagine what a difference that could make? And it doesn’t cost you a thing!
To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year (currently 25p for every £1 donated).
Fundraising Events
You can use our BT MyDonate page to gather sponsorship money for your event and support us directly. We have our own fundraising page that you can use. From fun runs to marathons or sponsored swims, this is an easy way for your friends to sponsor you (and support us) online.
Fundraising Regulator
The Wildlife Trust of South and West is registered with the Fundraising Regulator and we follow the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Fundraising Practice and comply with the key principles embodied in the Code.
We are committed to high standards and you can read our Fundraising Promise
We are happy to hear from you if you have a query about our fundraising. We have a Fundraising Complaints Procedure. Even if you simply wish to raise and issue rather than make a complaint, e.g. you felt that our fundraising materials were unclear, we would still like to hear from you so we can improve our standard of fundraising.
