A lone harbour porpoise was seen foraging close to New Quay headland. other sightings included a fulmar and red throated diver.
Sightings Update 19/07/2018: Bottlenose dolphins

Six land surveys were conducted from the harbour wall in New Quay yesterday, with bottlenose dolphins seen around the bay mostly from 7am-11am. The cetaceans were observed foraging for the most part with the occasional leap out of the water. Common sandpipers and well as gannets, fulmar (pictured), redshanks and compass jellyfish were also recorded.
