Many of you will be aware that over the last few months talented willow weaver, Michelle Cain, has been creating a giant sculpture up at the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve behind the Welsh Wildlife Centre.
The giant badger, a symbol of the Wildlife Trust movement, has been lovingly created by Michelle and a group of volunteers using locally resourced willow.
Many years ago a giant otter graced our Centre and we felt that we needed something which replaced the otter and which symbolised our protection of the wider environment.
The badger now sits upon the meadow where families picnic and can be viewed from the Centre itself. We hope it brings joy to many people over the coming years.
