The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW) is delighted to announce the return of its popular online broadcast, Skomer LIVE this July!
Join TV wildlife presenters Lizzie Daly, Yussef Rafik and the Skomer team for a jam packed WILD week. The first episode of the second series will be broadcast live from the island on Monday 19th July at 6pm on the Trusts Facebook page. Never before has Skomer Island been so accessible! The series is 2020 received over ¼ million views and was watched from around the world including USA, Australia, Philippines, Austria, Germany, Canada, Aberdeen, France and Italy. The show also raised £110,000 raised for WTSWW’s emergency COVID19 Appeal.
The Skomer Island web cameras have also returned. Viewers can watch Seals during the morning as they haul out on Skomer’s North Haven beach, Puffins, Razorbills, Guillemots, Rabbits on the cliff top during the afternoon and Manx Shearwaters at night. We warn you though, viewing is quite addictive!
