Join us for a walk around Pencelli and along the canal to look for bats.

Have you wondered how bats communicate and hunt for food. Each species has a different call frequency or call pattern which most of us are unable to hear. Using some bat detectors we will be able to hear the calls and Rob Morgan from Brecknock Bat Group will help us to identify the different species.

With the different habitats and older buildings here we should find a variety of species.

Please note that we will be meeting in the lay-by opposite to the entrance to Pencelli Castle Farm Campsite. Do not park in the campsite.

Please dress for the forecast and time of day. Wear sturdy footwear.
