About the event

Come and learn more about the ultimate flying machine - the Swift!

Swift by name and swift by nature. These incredible birds can reach 70mph. Each year they fly to Africa and back, clocking up 40 000 miles before they land to nest for the first time at four years old.

Barbara and Pauline will show where their amazing journey takes them, the dangers they face and what we can all do to help. They will talk about the steps the Brecon and District Swift Group have already taken and plans for the future.
