The South Ceredigion Wildlife Group is a friendly dynamic group run by volunteers local to the area with support from the staff at the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran.
The group hold evening meetings on the first Wednesday of every month between September and April. The meetings are held in Cardigan Catholic Church Hall and begin at 7:30pm. Speakers at the meetings vary greatly as do their subjects but are always based on wildlife and the natural world and are very interesting and enjoyable. The talks are usually attended by 30 to 40 people.
There is a cost of £2 entry to these meetings which includes refreshments after the talk. The money raised is used to cover costs and anything left over goes back into the nature conservation work of the Wildlife Trust. There is also a raffle held after the talk.
There is a programme of nature walks and events at the Teifi Marshes throughout the year. In addition, during the summer months the group organises outings to other wildlife sites in west Wales and beyond.
If you are visiting any of the Ceredigion reserves please let us know what you see (please include grid reference and date). Vegetation tick lists are available in xls and xlsx formats. Please return to email@example.com
