UPDATE - Due to the weather conditions the kayakers are now setting off on their 650 mile adventure from Chester on Wednesday 7th September to navigate the rivers and canals to the Severn estuary before heading out to the open sea - hopefully the weather conditions will have improved by the time they reach the sea. They will still be circumnavigating Wales by sea kayak and raising money for CBMWC as they go - We wish them luck!
Leaving Chester they will make their way south, using a variety of rivers and canals before reaching the Severn estuary and heading once more to the open sea. More tricky waters await along the south coast before hitting the tidal streams around Pembrokeshire to Newport and the final leg of the journey, up the west coast of Wales and the wild waters around Anglesey before heading back to Chester and a well earned drink. No comfy hotels or B&B’s on this trip...just a kayaks and tents...so please donate generously!
You can donate securely online now via Paypal, using your Paypal account or a credit/debit card.

Training began back in January 2011..yep it was cold. We have had a variety of trips to help prepare us for the long haul. In February we had our around Caldey Isalnd trip which was fantastic.
Other memorable trips include worms head and a 2 day kayak and camping trip from whitesands to pwll gwaelod. Most of the shots look like the water is flat calm..thats because on the trips that were a tads rough..its difficult to get the camera out!
