Job opportunity – Head of Conservation

Main responsibilities

To champion our conservation work externally and to lead our terrestrial conservation work internally, responding to both external and internal drivers and always having regard to the absolute priority that WTSWW gives to wildlife in all its work.
To develop and implement WTSWW’s terrestrial conservation objectives & strategies, coordinating, directing and overseeing the activities of the conservation team on our nature reserves and in the wider countryside.
Develop new strategic opportunities and support the team in developing and delivering projects.
As part of the senior team, acting to raise the profile of our conservation work, championing the intrinsic importance of wildlife and demonstrating the relevance of our work to the climate and ecological crises.
