Description

Description: Join Welsh photographer Andy Davies at the majestic Welsh Wildlife Centre, set within the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve at Cilgerran, for a memorable day learning the essentials of creative digital photography.

Andy will provide hands-on expert tuition to small groups covering a number of techniques and subjects. We will visit the various hides and may be lucky in seeing otters and kingfishers. The woodland adjacent to the studio is a great location for spring flowers such as snowdrops, primroses, bluebells and wild garlic.

Bluebells, Castle Wood, Llandeilo, WalesThis workshop caters for all skill levels, from complete beginners to aspiring professionals. Hands-on expert tuition is provided to small groups who are initially taken back to the fundamentals of photography, rapidly progressing to having full creative control of either digital compact cameras with manual capability or digital single lens reflex cameras (DSLRs) with interchangeable lenses.

We meet at 10 am for an introductory talk  and the day is then spent photographing at various locations within the Reserve, periodically returning to the Centre for review of pictures on the computer. Instruction is informal and conducted as we work our way around the Reserve.

Bookings: Cost is £95 per person. Places are limited and must be booked at  least a day in advance. Contact Andy Davies on 07977 562321or email andy@andydavies.info or Sharon Davies at The Welsh Wildlife Centre on 01239 621600.
