Join Prof. Bill Symondson from the School of Biosciences at Cardiff University and Cardiff Local group for a talk on Wildlife Conservation in Mauritius.  He has been involved with a number of research projects on Mauritius, these include Telfair’s skinks, giant tortoises and pink pigeons.  Much of the work has been in conjunction with the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and Bill will be describing their work to restore the ecosystems of Round Island and Ile aux Aigrettes.
