1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre
Do you live locally to New Quay? Are you between 14 and 25 years old and interested in becoming involved in our research and community engagement work?
This is your chance to experience what it’s like to volunteer at CBMWC, meet some of our current volunteers and find out how you can become involved!
The session will begin at 1pm with a tour of our centre and a quick chat about our Living Seas work. We’ll then head out to New Quay Harbour Wall to conduct a mini dolphin watch survey and possibly spot some dolphins, seals or marine birds. After our mini survey we’ll head back for tea, coffee and biscuits and a chance for you to talk to some of our current volunteers.
YOU DON’T NEED A BACKGROUND IN SCIENCE TO BECOME INVOLVED!
