Liz Chadwick has been Manager of the Cardiff Otter Project since 2004. It receives otters (mainly road kill) from throughout England and Wales and is funded by the Environment Agency to conduct post-mortems and research on the corpses. Given that otters are so secretive and rarely seen, this project is providing all sorts of insights into the biology of otters and Liz will be talking about some of this work.

This is a joint meeting with the Cardiff University natural history society: WildSoc. Parking is available in the Main Building Car Park, which can be accessed from Park Place, opposite the Students Union Building. Enter the doors to the Main Building which are opposite the car park entrance, and the Wallace lecture theatre will be signposted from the entrance foyer.
