Swift apus apus pixabayJoin the Wildlife Trust Cardiff Local Group  for a talk from Alun Rosney of Glamorgan Bird Club about the Cardiff Swift Project. Swift numbers have plummeted over the last 30 years.

The Glamorgan Swift Project is looking at some of the factors  that may have played their part in the decline and the various initiatives that are being put in  place to try and arrest their downward spiral. If numbers continue to fall at their present rate, we could lose the Swift as a breeding species in the next 30 years.  (This is a joint meeting with the Cardiff Naturalists Society).
