Coed-y-Bedw is one of the Trust’s closest reserves to Cardiff and this visit, organised by the Conchological Society, aims to catalogue the diverse range of snail species found there. Meet at 10.30 am on the southern edge of Coed-y-Bedw, in a layby on the road between Taff’s Well and Pentyrch (ST 1094 8251).
Parking at the meeting point is limited and there are no toilets. More parking is available in Taff’s Well or at the Ty Nant Inn/Pugh’s Garden Centre (ST 1279 8196) but will require a 1-2km walk to Coed-y-Bedw along busy roads – please take care. Bring a packed lunch and let Ben Rowson know if you are interested in attending by emailing: email@example.com or tel: 08753 849114.
