Join us for the survey of the reptiles and amphibians of Parc Slip Nature Reserve where we will be going out to survey the reptile refugia and other likely reptile habitats.
You will be able to enter study areas of the reserve that are usually closed to the public.
Everyone welcome, no prior knowledge needed- just an interest in wildlife! As we hope to get up close to these amazing animals in their natural habitat, a camera is recommended.
Meeting Place: Parc Slip Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre
Clothing requirements: Sturdy and waterproof footwear and weather appropriate clothing. As we will be out on the reserve for more than an hour it is recommended that you bring a bottle of water.
Accessibility and Conditions: We will be walking through rough fields with tall vegetation. This walk is suitable for children over 5 years old.
Cost: £5 per person or £7.50 for a family- proceeds to go towards the conservation work of the Wildlife Trust.
