Description

At Parc Slip we need your help to improve and maintain the nature reserve for wildlife. Every Friday morning we will be doing essential habitat management works on the reserve, such as cutting back scrub, coppicing and much more.

Making a habitat pile

By volunteering with the Wildlife Trust you can:

  • Gain practical conservation experience
  • Meet new people with similar interests
  • Improve fitness
  • Learn about your local wildlife

Accessibility and conditions: These work parties are designed so that you can work at your own pace, with a break halfway for a hot drink and biscuits. Please be aware that some terrain on the reserve is difficult to navigate and you must therefore be quite mobile to be able to access it.

Age group: Volunteers must be 18+.

Meeting place: Outside Parc Slip Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre.

Clothing Requirements: Sturdy and waterproof footwear (e.g. wellies) and weather appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. It is advisable to bring waterproof trousers.
Equipment is provided!
