Parc Slip is a nature reserve steeped in history! Did you know that this beautiful reserve was once an open cast coal mine?
Discover the history of Parc Slip from it’s industrial past to the wildlife haven it is today. Use our self guided trail to follow the sculptures and explore the reserve as they tell the story of the land.
Time: Visitors can collect the Heritage Guide from Parc Slip Visitor Centre anytime between 10.30am – 3pm.
Age group: All ages, perfect for families who are looking for a sense of adventure with children over half term.
Clothing Requirements: Sturdy footwear i.e. wellies or walking boots, and weather appropriate clothing.
Price: suggested £2 donation that will contribute to the conservation work of the Trust.
