Dormice and other small mammals have distinctive ways in which they open Hazel nuts. Join the Wildlife Trust as we carry out a survey for nuts opened by Dormice in order to help us monitor our Dormouse population at Brynna Woods.
Meeting place: Meet at the Western entrance to the reserve, off Brynna Road, near the Naturally Woodlands houses.
Clothing Requirements: Sturdy and waterproof footwear and weather appropriate clothing.
Accessibility and Conditions: We will be going into the woodland to look for nuts. In some places the ground may be rough and boggy.
