Come along to Parc Slip to celebrate ‘National Fungus Day’! Glamorgan Fungus Group will be leading walks around the reserve to look for terrific toadstools and magical mushrooms at 11am and 2pm and the Visitor Centre Discovery Room will be open (from 11am-4pm) for those who want to take a closer look at the fascinating world of fungi.
MEETING PLACE: The Discovery Room, Parc Slip Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre.
TIME: Walks taking place at 11am and 2pm starting from the Visitor Centre.
Clothing Requirements: Sturdy and waterproof footwear and weather appropriate clothing for the walks.
Accessibility and Conditions: We will mostly be sticking to the paths but may enter woodland or wetland at some points. In some places the ground may be rough and boggy.
Booking: Turn up on the day. The walks may be weather permitting.
Price: Suggested Donation of £2. Your donation will go directly to the conservation work of the Wildlife Trust.
