DESCRIPTION: Half the worlds’ population of Manx shearwaters travel all the way from South America to breed on Skomer Island. At night the island echoes with their calls as they return from a day feeding at sea. Graceful in flight but awkward on land these birds guarantee a wildlife encounter you will never forget.
Stay for two nights and receive a talk from the shearwater researchers about the ground breaking research happening on Skomer, help out with daily chick weighing; a chance to see the shearwaters up close and personal; and head out on a guided night time walk through the largest Manx Shearwater colony in the world.
PRICE: £99 adults, £49 kids; includes two nights accommodation
