Join our workparty to help remove the beautiful yet invasive Himalayan balsam (Impatiens glandulifera)
Himalayan balsam is a large annual plant native to the Himalayas, humans have introduced it across much of the Northern Hemisphere and is now considered an invasive species in Britain.
While we are pulling this invasive species we will also be recording other plants and animals in this under recorded corner of the reserve.
We will be working outside so please wear weather appropriate clothing, sturdy waterproof shoes/wellies.
Meet at Ysgol Golwg y Cwm car park, Hendreladus, Ystradgynlais, Swansea, Powys, SA9 1SE
Don’t forget you lunch if you’re planning on staying all day.
