Are you between 14 and 25 years old and interested in marine wildlife?
Become a marine biologist with our Living Seas experts and discover the marine life of Cardigan Bay from bottlenose dolphins to anemones and hermit crabs!
We’ll explore the local coastline carrying out citizen science surveys to give you an insight into the world of a marine biologist.
Sessions will include –
- Dolphin Watch Survey – help to monitor local marine mammals and hopefully spot some dolphins, seals or porpoise
- Microscopic Marine life – collect water samples and analyse them under the microscope looking for plankton and even microplastics
- Shoresearch – explore the rocky shore monitoring seaweeds, crabs, anemones and much more
We’ll meet at the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre at 11am.
The event is FREE of charge. Places are limited so BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL. To book a place call 01545 560224 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
