Description

Join the Wildlife Trust on a sunny day (hopefully!) to help us survey the butterfly species out and about at Brynna Woods and Llanharan Marsh nature reserve. No prior knowledge needed, just an interest in wildlife.

Time: 2pm – 3.30pm

Ringlet by Megan Howells

Meeting place: Meet at the western entrance to the reserve, off Brynna Road, by the naturally woodlands eco housing estate. Nearest postcode: CF72 9ZR.

Clothing Requirements: Sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing. Binoculars are useful for spotting butterflies from further away.

Accessibility and Conditions: We will mostly be sticking to the paths but may enter the meadows at some points. In some places the ground may be rough and boggy.

Cost: A suggested donation of £2 to support the conservation work of the Wildlife Trust.

This event is weather dependent, if you are unsure whether the event is going ahead please contact Megan at m.howells@welshwildlife.org or call 01656 724100.
