Join us during National Nest Box Week to put up some bird boxes in the trees at Brynna Woods, ready for the approaching breeding and nesting season. We’ll be walking through the woods, looking out for birds at the same time, so don’t forget to bring your binoculars!
Meeting place: Meet at the Western entrance to the reserve, off Brynna Road, near the Naturally Woodlands houses.
Clothing Requirements: Sturdy and waterproof footwear and weather appropriate clothing. Binoculars are highly recommended.
Accessibility and Conditions: We will mostly be sticking to the paths but may enter woodland or marsh at some points. In some places the ground may be rough and boggy.
Cost: A suggested donation of £2 to support the conservation work of the Wildlife Trust.
Booking: Turn up on the day. This event will be weather permitting so please check our website or ring 01656 724100 to check before you travel.
