Learn about the fascinating world of bats, the UK’s only flying mammal. We will use bat detectors on a night-time walk around the reserve, to find and listen in on the fantastic bats of Parc Slip.
Meeting Place: Outside Parc Slip Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre.
Time: 8:30 pm -10 pm
Walk Description: The length of the walk will be weather dependent! The walk is easy, mainly over flat ground, although it is rough in places. We will be walking at a slow pace as we will be keeping our eyes and ears on the lookout for bats. We will be out for over an hour so you are advised to bring water with you.
Age Range: Age 7 and above.
Requirements: Please bring a Torch if possible, and wear sturdy footwear and warm clothing.
Price: Suggested donation of £2. Your donation will help with the conservation work of the Wildlife Trust.
