Come and learn about the fascinating world of bats, the UK’s only flying mammal. We will walk around the reserve at night and use bat detectors to find and identify the bats of Parc Slip.
Meeting Place: Outside Parc Slip Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre.
Age Range: Age 7 and above.
Walk Description: The length of the walk will be weather dependent! The walk is easy, mainly over flat ground, although it is rough in places. We will be walking at a slow pace as we will be keeping our eyes and ears on the lookout for bats. We will be out for over an hour so you are advised to bring water with you.
Requirements: Please bring a Torch if possible, and wear sturdy footwear and warm clothing.
Price: Suggested donation of £2. Your donation will help with the conservation work of the Wildlife Trust.
Booking: There will be limited places on this event so please book with Megan by email or ring 01656 724100 to reserve your space.
Please note this event is weather dependent. In bad weather, please phone us or check our events page before you travel.
