How we are funded
We are a charity which means every penny raised is spent on delivering our charitable work - nature conservation across South and West Wales.
Local Groups
The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales' 11 local groups carry out all manner of fundraising activities, evening talks and events, as well as recruiting new members, local publicity, nature reserve work parties and membership support.

Accessibility & Inclusivity on Skomer Island
We are committed to making Skomer Island as inclusive as possible. We want as many people as possible to be able to experience the wonders of our wildlife-packed island.
Nature Networks – Sentinels for the Sea & Connecting the Future!
Seabird counts, dolphin data and woodland management…it’s all systems go for our Wildlife Trust Nature Networks projects.
Common starfish
A most familiar seashore inhabitant, the common starfish truly lives up to its name in UK seas and rockpools!
Mountain hare
The mountain hare lives in the Scottish Highlands and the north of England. They are renowned for turning white in winter to match their upland surroundings.
Tufted duck
This comical little duck lives up to its name – look out for the black tuft of feathers on its head!
The River - A Collaborative Youth Project
We are so pleased to reveal this collaborative artwork commissioned as part of the Save Our Taff campaign.
Bugle
Often found carpeting damp grassland and woodland clearings, the blue flower spikes of bugle are very recognisable. A short, creeping plant, it spreads using runners.
Foxglove
The Foxglove is a familiar, tall plant, with pink flower spikes and a deadly nature. In summer, it can be spotted in woodlands and gardens, and on moorlands, roadside verges and waste grounds.
